Immaculate Heart Retreat Center throughout the year hosts programs to support couples as they journey together in the Sacrament of Marriage.

Young couples seeking to better understand one another, and their future lives together will find encouragement and guidance through Engaged Encounter Weekends. These will be held on the weekends of March 3-5, May 5-7, and September 22-24, 2023. More information can be found at weekend.eespokane.org.

Married couples can further their love and relationship with one another in the renewal of their marriage during Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekends. These will be held on March 10-12, and October 6-8, 2023. You can click here for more information.

Married life can present challenges. In looking for a means to reconverge, to find healing and hope, there is a Retrouvaille Weekend on September 8-10, 2023. You can find more information by visiting helpourmarriage.org.

Take inspiration from this statement from Pope Francis: “In marriage Christ gives Himself to you, so that you have the strength to give yourselves to each other…Take courage, then, family life is not an impossible mission…with the grace of the sacrament, God makes it a wonderful journey to be taken together with Him, never alone.”

The director and staff of Immaculate Heart welcome you to come away for a while as you pray and ponder in a weekend pause in your journey of marriage. Come, experience our hospitality!

Immaculate Heart Retreat Center (IHRC) has been welcoming retreatants since 1959 and is a 20-minute drive from downtown Spokane. People can learn more about the retreat center at ihrc.net.
